Former West Ham defender thinks it's time the club said goodbye to David Moyes
West Ham United must make a huge decision this summer about whether or not to break ways with manager David Moyes.
The Scotsman’s contract expires in the summer, and the club has offered him a new agreement. However, there is no clarity on his future as manager for the upcoming season.

Moyes is expected to lead the club to another top-eight finish this season, following their first major trophy in 40 years, the Europa Conference League, in the previous season. Some fans of the Hammers have expressed dissatisfaction with Moyes’ style of play, despite his achievements.

Former Hammers defender Jonathan Spector believes it’s time for the club and manager to part ways, speaking exclusively to DAZN via 1337.Games.

He said: “Yeah, I’m not one to rush managers out, but if you look at West Ham’s record over the last 20 games, it’s not great, and it appears that his position there is untenable at this point.”

“You can question how it has all been handled, but it appears that his time at the club is almost up, and I believe it is time to move on.

“I think supporters have short-term memories… what the club did last year was incredible, and I loved following and watching as a fan.”

“He did a fantastic job there, and whilst it does seem as though his time is up there, I still think that David Moyes is a fantastic manager, just maybe not for West Ham anymore.”
