Rangers player Philippe Clement reveals his injuries, saying he will be sidelined for “a long time.”

Following a bizarre training ground injury in Spain, Philippe Clement has stated that Kyle Dowell would miss a significant amount of time on the sidelines.

After joining Rangers from Norwich City in the summer, Dowell, 26, has had to wait his turn for a chance, but he made an impression on Clement’s squad last month by scoring in the 2-0 victory over Motherwell. The playmaker, though, has suffered a severe injury that occurred during the team’s mid-season training camp in La Manga. Additionally, manager Clement stated that Dowell won’t be returning anytime soon in remarks made prior to tonight’s friendly against FC Copenhagen.

“Kieran was really unlucky that he stuck in the grass on a bad pitch in La Manga,” he said to Rangers TV. Thus, he will typically be absent for a considerable amount of time. We must conduct a thorough evaluation of that. However, it is certain that he will not return in the upcoming several weeks.”

Dujon Sterling was also injured last week and was not included in the squad for tonight’s game. However, Clement allayed concerns about the injury by saying, “Dujon just got a knock in a duel and he was not fit for today, but I expect him back at the end of the week.”
