It is confirmed by Heart of Midlothian that Alex Lowry is back with the Rangers.
Since August of last year, the forward has been on loan from the Ibrox team, appearing in 17 games while wearing maroon and scoring one goal.
He is now returning to Glasgow to further his growth.
“We took the decision to end the loan with Alex’s best interests in mind,” head coach Steven Naismith stated in a statement to the Official Hearts Website There is no denying Alex’s skill as a player; he has demonstrated his abilities on the field on occasion.
“But given how fiercely our group is competing for spots, it’s unlikely that he will get the game time necessary to advance his development, which is one of the main reasons he came here in the first place.
“I have no doubt that he will develop into a premier player. We appreciate all of his hard work at Hearts and wish this wonderful youngster all the best in the future.
