Journalist says “very talented” player wants to seal Rangers move

According to a report from writer Sacha Tavolieri, an attacker in the English Premier League is eager to join Rangers and has been “proposed to the club”.

Despite losing the Old Firm derby the previous weekend, the Gers are still in the thick of the Scottish Premiership title chase, trailing their bitter rivals by just eight points with two games remaining.Though not everything has gone according to plan since Philippe Clement took over for Michael Beale, the Ibrox team, who are still in the Europa League, appears to have a bright future ahead of them.

However, Rangers may need to add more players during the January transfer window if things aren’t going well enough, since many players have been linked to moves to the team.

Ben Godfrey and Mason Holgate of Everton have surfaced as possible choices to strengthen the defense, and another player rumored to be joining the Gers is promising left-back Owen Beck of Liverpool. The 21-year-old just made his way back to Anfield following a first-half loan stint at Dundee.

Even if Rangers are interested in signing several players, it appears that one of them has made it clear that he wants to transfer to Ibrox based on a recently released update.

Ranger’s Emmanuel Dennis wants to relocate

Reporter Tavolieri stated on X on Friday that Emmanuel Dennis, who is presently on loan at Istanbul Basaksehir from Nottingham Forest, is interested in joining Rangers.

“Emmanuel Dennis has been suggested to the team, but as of right moment, no formal approach has been made. However, I can vouch for the player’s interest in the Rangers.”

Between now and the end of the season, Dennis might be just what the Rangers are looking for in the attacking third, giving them the added firepower that could be so important in the quest for the championship. With 52 games in the English Premier League, the 26-year-old has demonstrated top-tier experience, tallying 12 goals and dishing out eight assists. Former Watford and Leicester City manager Claudio Ranieri has praised the player in the past, saying:

“Dennis is a very gifted athlete. I adore players that are quick, skilled, and constantly run directly toward the goal.”

Only James Tavernier and Abdullah Sima have scored more goals for the Gers in the Scottish Premiership this year than the team as a whole. However, Dennis has the potential to alleviate this problem and provide crucial support when the big games near the end of the season, providing Clement with a much-needed additional attacking option.

Dennis, who is 26 years old, is someone who could be a force at the club for a number of years should he arrive on a permanent basis at some point this month, though a move seems some way off for the time being. His experience in British football, as previously mentioned, means he shouldn’t struggle with the pace of the Scottish game.
