This month, the Dutchman moved on loan from Rangers after losing favor with manager Philippe Clement. The 26-year-old’s season has been challenging as he has only scored two goals in 32 appearances across all competitions, including a blank effort in his Utrecht debut.
From the attacker’s debut at his new club, supporters have been gushing about him, but Aad de Mos, the former manager of Ajax and PSV, wasn’t one of them. He also shared his opinions on Danilo and Cyriel Dessers being higher up at Ibrox than Lammers.

“He hasn’t demonstrated it at Atalanta; at Rangers FC, Danilo and Cyriel Dessers have also passed him,” stated De Mos. “Although he played several good matches with PSV, he was superfluous there. He is a good-looking boy, then. Since Danilo and Dessers are in front of you and you are not permitted to participate at Rangers FC, please accept my sincere apology.”Every one might have said something different if it had been Dessers, and I’m not sure about Danilo either. It’s all too erratic and too much in the bank. Then, there’s no assurance that you’ll just jump right in to the Netherlands.
