Transfer News : Rangers in race to land ‘Fantastic’ 25-y/o Englishman

According to TBR Football, Rangers is still in the running to sign Callum O’Hare, a midfielder for Coventry City, during the summer transfer window.

Many teams are eager to sign the soon-to-be free agent, including the Rangers, according to an online publication that ran a story on Saturday, April 27.

Along with Southampton and Leicester City, who will play in the Premier League, the fierce rivals of the Gers, Celtic, are also reportedly in the running.

Burnley, who are expected to be demoted to the English Championship, are reportedly the front-runners to sign him at this time.

Callum O’Hare’s Coventry City contract situation
Manager of Coventry Mark Robins recently revealed that O’Hare had received a new contract offer from the team, but it appears he won’t accept it.

It is not surprising that a number of clubs are lining up to try and sign him, considering he is available on a free contract.

O’Hare would surely strengthen Rangers’ team, especially the starting XI. Robins had called O’Hare a “brilliant person” earlier in the season.

Usually utilized as an offensive midfielder, O’Hare can also play deeper, which would free up Philippe Clement.

Although it won’t be simple to sign the Englishman, the Light Blues should definitely pursue this strategy as the summer window draws near.
