Peterborough United are hoping to come from behind after losing to Oxford United in the first leg of their League One play-off semi-final last week.
Elliott Moore’s second-half goal was enough to give the Yellows a 1-0 triumph.
Darren Ferguson’s Posh finished the regular season in mediocre form, but they have been a dangerous attacking team all season, particularly at home. With a one-goal disadvantage going into the London Road game, they’ll be hoping to come back from behind and advance to the final.
Oxford United are riding a wave of momentum though. They ended the season well to break back into the play-offs and of course, they hold the advantage coming into this second leg.
Des Buckingham will be determined to see his side maintain their lead and set up a final with either Bolton Wanderers or Barnsley. It marks a unique challenge for him though as he embarks on the play-offs in his first campaign as manager.
A tough and tense game awaits though, with potentially just 90 minutes separating the U’s and a place in their first play-off final since 2020.

“This is going to be a good game. Peterborough United have to come out all guns blazing if they’re to rattle this Oxford United side early and get themselves back level.
“Setting the pace quickly will get the home crowd behind them and could just unnerve the visitors. That’s exactly what Sheffield Wednesday did to the Posh in their remarkable comeback last season, and they must emulate that.
“That being said, I believe Oxford is capable of achieving the desired results. I anticipate some drama and even extra time, but I’ll favour Buckingham’s team to advance, and they might even go all the way and win the final.”

“Peterborough United are still in the game and will fancy their chances of turning things around at home.
“The Posh have players who can hurt Oxford United here, and they need to score first at London Road.” They must harness the disappointment of losing to Sheffield Wednesday at this time last year to drive them to victory.
“The visitors will be thrilled to have a small advantage going into the second leg. They simply need to keep their opponents from scoring and they will be at Wembley.
“However, I think Peterborough United will be fired up for it and I can see them edging it in the end.”
