New date confirmed for Coventry City vs Preston North End fixture

The Sky Blues’ matchup with Maidstone United in the FA Cup has affected PNE’s road game.

The fixture was rescheduled, and Preston North End will now visit Coventry City on a Friday night.

The Lilywhites’ scheduled Saturday, February 24 matchup against the Sky Blues has been rescheduled for Friday, February 23, at 7:45 p.m. This is because Coventry’s FA Cup fifth round match against Maidstone United is scheduled for that time. That would have meant Coventry would have had just one day to recuperate and be ready for Maidstone after the PNE match. As a result, North End has decided to give refunds to any away fans who purchased tickets but are now unable to attend the game.
