Coventry City season ticket news from CoventryLive as the Sky Blues provide an exciting update on sales fugures so far
For the first time in the team’s history, Coventry City anticipates “smashing” the 20,000 season ticket barrier.
Over 2,500 new supporters have already acquired tickets for the 2024–2025 season; more than 1,000 of these supporters have never attended a game or season ticket event at the Coventry Building Society Arena.
The Sky Blues set a record-breaking 19,500 sales last season, up from roughly 13,500 sales the year before. The team currently claims it is on track to sell over 20,000.
In contrast, women make up 25% of the 2,500 new fans, which is a larger percentage than the typical 18% of female season ticket buyers.
The Sky Blues are getting close to matching the final, record-breaking amount of season tickets sold in the 2023–24 campaign, which was approximately 19,500, according to a club official. This has been accomplished well ahead of last year, and if past purchasing patterns continue, it is reasonable to predict that the 20,000 barrier will be broken for the first time.
Although the team has not yet said whether season ticket caps would be in place to guarantee that there is enough availability on matchdays, supporters are urged to take advantage of the Early Bird period and “not take that chance.”
