According to a TEAMtalk report, Coventry City and Middlesbrough are two of the teams interested in Tyler Goodrham, a winger for Oxford United.
Between now and the end of the transfer window later today, Oxford United may have a fight on their hands to hang onto the young player.
During the first half of current season, Goodrham, 20, has made 35 appearances in all competitions, contributing eight goals and four assists.
According to TEAMtalk, Coventry, Middlesbrough, and other Championship teams like Hull City and Bristol City have taken notice of his remarkable play.
Middlesbrough and Coventry City are interested in winger
Coventry, who are now above Sunderland and Hull in the second division, may view Goodrham as a way to strengthen their promotion campaign.
Boro, on the other hand, are four points outside of the top six in 11th place. They may need to find a replacement before the deadline as they are losing Morgan Rogers to Aston Villa.
Goodrham’s contract with Oxford runs through the summer of 2027, and they have the option to extend it by an additional 12 months. As a result, they are not under any obligation to sell him anytime soon unless they receive an offer for his services that they believe is too good to turn down.
When he was younger, the prospect was registered at Reading before joining his present team. He played regularly for the U’s at several junior levels and took non-league loan stints with Slough Town, Hayes, and Yeading United to gain some experience.
After making his debut appearance with Oxford’s first team in 2022, he has since established himself as one of their most valuable assets and is now attracting interest from the level above.
