Red is questionable for the team’s final two games of the season due to a muscle injury that kept him out of the match against Blackburn Rovers.

The star midfielder for the Sky Blues has a “muscle issue,” according to manager Mark Robins, who made this revelation following Saturday’s goalless draw at Ewood Park. “He tried to train on Friday but couldn’t, so he was out,” Robins said.

When pressed for more information regarding the affected muscle, Robins remained reticent, implying that the issue is more serious than a small setback. He remarked, “It’s a muscle in his body.” When necessary, I will inform you. I don’t currently need to discuss it with you. He’s having trouble.

Luis Binks, the centre half, was also not included in the Saturday matchday roster. The manager stated, “Binksy is still out with his Achilles issue.” We can’t scan it yet, so I’m not sure how bad it is. It is evident that the two of them were having difficulty; we simply need to address his symptoms and monitor his progress.

Robins only has two fit senior center-halves available in Bobby Thomas and Joel Laibeaudiere after Liam Kitching was given a straight red card in the goalless draw and will serve an immediate three-match suspension. Jake Bidwell, a left-back, could fill in if needed. Victor Torp, a midfielder for City, is also sidelined at the moment after sustaining a stomach ailment during the FA Cup semifinal last weekend.
