“Screaming” Chris Sutton informs Celtic that they had to make a very clear signing in January.

Over the past few months, Celtic’s January transfer business has been under heavy scrutiny. And before the Motherwell game started, it was the talk of the town once more. Chris Sutton informs Celtic that they overlooked a crucial position in January that would have allowed them to “absolutely bury” Rangers this season.

“If you look at the recruitment in the summer, and the nine players that Celtic signed,” Sutton [Sky Sports] stated. The predicament in the middle, the confused, disorganized thinking.

“Celtic hasn’t been feeling right. They were let down since they did not prepare for the Champions League.

“And they weren’t prepared either in January. There has been a need for Celtic to sign someone at left-back for a long time.

“That’s not what they did. And this is how, I believe, Celtics fans see it.

They truly had a chance to completely destroy Rangers in the summer, win the league, and take home the Champions League spoils. That is not the case.
