Rodgers reveals unwell Celtic midfielder  Despite playing the entire match against Livingston this afternoon, Celtic playmaker Matt O’Riley was sick all week, according to Brendan Rodgers.

O’Riley, who is rarely absent from Celtic matches, overcame the illness, and the fact that Rodgers didn’t bring it up prior to the match demonstrates the high expectations the Danish midfielder has of himself.

“The players deserve credit for that; some of them haven’t played a lot,” Aaron Rodgers stated (The Herald).

“Stephen Welsh entered at the last minute, replacing Matt O’Riley, who was ill the entire week. Nicolas Kuhn also entered after not playing. Although there was some interruption there, the crew managed to finish the task.
