MAGICAL Rangers and Celtic have not yet concluded business as the transfer deadline approaches.

On deadline day, only two Premiership teams—Dundee and Livingston—had announced deals by mid-afternoon; however, additional transactions are anticipated at Celtic and Rangers, among other teams.

While Livingston completed a move for Inverness midfielder David Carson, Dundee signed Norwich goalkeeper Jon McCracken again on a loan basis.

Adam Idah, a 22-year-old striker from Norwich and the Republic of Ireland who has scored seven goals this season, is expected to complete his loan deal with Celtic on Wednesday.

A number of players may be leaving Celtic Park. James Forrest has been linked to an exit, while David Turnbull and Mikey Johnston are expected to join Cardiff and West Brom, respectively.

However, there are rumors that Gustaf Lagerbielke’s fellow center-back Cameron Carter-Vickers may suffer more injuries, which could derail his planned loan move to the Italian team Lecce.

Oscar Cortes, a 20-year-old Colombian winger, is poised to join Rangers on loan from Lens with the option to buy once he gets to Glasgow.

APOEL Nicosia, a loan club, is apparently planning to hold 20-year-old Brazilian left-back Jefte till the end of the season, therefore it appears that the Light Blues’ attempt to sign him was unsuccessful.

Ridvan Yimaz, the left-back for the Gers, is still up in the air, though, as Galatasaray is reportedly putting together a bid.

Following the termination of his initial loan agreement in August due to Trevor Carson  made his way back to Dens Park.

After playing 13 games for Accrington on an emergency loan, the 23-year-old is now limited to playing for Dundee this season.

“It is important for me to have strong competition in every position for the last part of the season and I want that with our goalkeepers and bringing Jon in gives us a real level of competition,” manager Tony Docherty said on the team website after Carson missed a few recent games due to injury.
