Another serious injury setback for Celtic before their match against St Johnstone

Celtic will be without Liam Scales for the visit of St Johnstone to Celtic Park tomorrow afternoon. Brendan Rodgers revealed this afternoon that Liam Scales has picked up a knock in training and will NOT be available for the game against Craig Levein’s side.

Scales is added by the Celtic manager to the list of players he anticipates returning following the international break. It is also possible that Scales will forego playing for his country during this time.
In addition to confirming that Callum McGregor, the captain of Celtic, is still expected to return from the break and could be considered for the trip to Livingston at the end of this month, Rodgers also revealed that Cameron Carter-Vickers is available and included in the squad for tomorrow’s crucial Scottish Premiership match.

Luis Palma’s injury will keep him out for three and a half weeks, the Honduran FA informed us yesterday. Their report was based on data and scans they obtained from Celtic’s medical department.
It pours, but it never rains! More to come from Brendan’s press conference…
