Celtic supporters should anticipate a dramatic and thrilling conclusion to the league season, since there are just 10 games left in the Scottish Premiership.

Cameron Carter-Vickers sets the record straight on Celtic Rangers title race perception

Having dominated Scottish football for the past ten or more years, the Bhoys’ current position in second place at this point in the season feels strange.

But when it comes to picking up silverware, Celtic still has the upper hand with two derbies left. A string of ten outstanding games might and ought to result in another championship.

Some opponents’ supporters would have you believe that this is the first time the Bhoys have ever faced a real challenge and that Celtic is being weak just because there is a threat this season.

However, that is untrue, as defender Cameron Carter-Vickers revealed last week when he was questioned about whether this is his squad’s hardest test since joining the team.

On the Celtic Rangers title fight, Carter-Vickers

According to The Daily Record, he stated: “I’m not sure if I would say it’s our hardest test. I remember our first year here being a difficult championship battle. We were trailing early in the season, and I believe we were just a few points ahead when we visited their stadium prior to the break.

That was a difficult title problem, then. This one will undoubtedly be challenging as well. However, I believe we are prepared for the task and have the necessary players. We seem like a peaceful gang.

We are not very bothered by a lot of noise or other similar things. We are aware of what has to be done and how to approach it. That’s our goal right now.

The majority of these players have shown themselves after facing significant challenges in the past. Carter-Vickers makes a valid point when she says as much.

In Ange Postecoglou’s first season, Celtic were six points behind going into the winter break and showed remarkable fortitude to produce a big points swing.

This season has certainly had some misfiring performances but now that we’re in the business end of the campaign, Celtic shouldn’t be written off. Plenty of football still has to be played.
