Johnston shared a photo of himself taking the strike on Sunday, wishing the supporters a happy St. Patrick’s Day and expressing his hope that they will have more luck than he did during the game on Saturday:

The Canadian defender’s goal would have been among his greatest of his career if it had stood. Johnston has only scored one goal this season; he is not recognized for his scoring prowess.
