Blackpool FC would like to place on record their thanks as Four Scholars Depart

Blackpool FC extends their gratitude to four Under-18 players who will be departing the club at the end of their scholarship this summer. Toby Oliver, Danai Hassan, Josh King-Phillips, and Matteo Spinelli have all made significant contributions to Neal Eardley’s team, playing pivotal roles in the club’s success, including clinching the EFL Youth Alliance league title in 2023.

The entire academy acknowledges the dedication and positive attitude demonstrated by these four youngsters throughout their two-year scholarship. They are commended for their hard work and are wished the best of luck in their future endeavors, whether in football or beyond the sport.

Manager Neal Eardley expresses his appreciation for the departing players, emphasizing their positive impact during their time at Bloomfield Road. He highlights their role in the team’s achievements, particularly their success in winning the EFL North West Youth Alliance, which he believes will leave a lasting impression on them.
