According to Peter Martin, winning the championship will result in a “massive change of direction” for them financially, with the opportunity to automatically qualify for the Champions League worth up to £60 million.

“It’s a £60m roll of the dice, which is not unusual,” Martin continued. This is just another year where Rangers’ roll of the dice in this plan hasn’t paid off, and ultimately, spending £60 million represents a significant shift in the team’s path.
“Of course it is, and I think the way they’ve been working they’ve obviously, clearly not had that sort of money,” Lee McCulloch retorted. You can bet that they will strive to obtain it if there is a carrot to go achieve that kind of money.
