Strachan was successful at Celtic, winning two League Cups, one Scottish Cup, and three League Titles in his four years there. His squads had great success because they were well-trained. They were, nevertheless, frequently criticized for being overly practical.

Strachan managed 182 games in his four years at Celtic, winning 122 of them. Strachan managed consecutive Champions League Last 16 appearances while serving as Celtic’s manager.
