Rangers have rejected an official offer from Galatasaray for Ridvan Yilmaz and are demanding £7.6m for a deal to be done, according to Yagiz Sabuncuoglu.

If they’re not willing to do that then it’s clear the club should be more than willing to keep hold of him if he’s going to keep performing to this level, because he’ll play regularly and keep us competing.

If they return with the big offer then it would represent a profit for a player who hasn’t ripped up any trees and has struggled for fitness despite showing promise, and would be good business. Win-win.
