Hearts, Hibs, Celtic, and Rangers have had 23/24 live televised games so far, as Sky has missed the Edinburgh derby yet again – gallery

How do Hibs and Hearts’ live television broadcasts compare to those of their Premiership rivals?

The fact that next month’s Edinburgh derby between Hearts and Hibs was not picked for live transmission came as a bit of a surprise.

The Sky Sports cameras were present when Hearts scored a stunning late win at Easter Road, with Lawrence Shankland scoring the lone goal of the game in the third minute of second-half injury time.

Hibs will aim to get revenge when they make the trip to Tynecastle in late-February – but the fixture has been snubbed for live coverage after the broadcasting giant opted to show Livingston’s home game with Motherwell.

The move infuriated supporters of both Edinburgh clubs, as Sky explained the decision by noting that they are adhering to an agreement that limits home clubs to play four live games each season.

But, as the second half of the season begins, how do Hearts and Hibs compare in terms of live games televised on Sky Sports this season?
