🎤 Amy Winehouse’s Unreleased Songs Officially Announced for 2025 Release
In a momentous announcement for music enthusiasts worldwide, the estate of the late Amy Winehouse has confirmed the upcoming release of previously unheard recordings by the iconic British singer-songwriter. This collection, set to debut in December 2025, promises to offer fans a deeper insight into Winehouse’s artistic journey and musical evolution.
The forthcoming album, tentatively titled Amy Winehouse: The Lost Sessions, comprises 12 tracks that span various phases of her career. These include original compositions, alternate takes of her well-known hits, and covers that showcase her unique vocal prowess. Notably, the album features “Between the Cheats,” a track recorded in May 2008, and “Halftime,” a song that her father, Mitch Winehouse, described as “incredibly beautiful” upon hearing it for the first time.
The project has been meticulously curated by Winehouse’s longtime collaborators, Salaam Remi and Mark Ronson, who revisited hours of archival recordings to assemble a collection that honors her legacy. Their collaboration ensures that the album maintains the authenticity and quality synonymous with Winehouse’s previous works.
In a heartfelt statement, Mitch Winehouse expressed the family’s commitment to preserving Amy’s artistic integrity: “If the family had felt that this album wasn’t up to the standard of Frank and Back to Black, we would never have agreed to release it.”
Adding a philanthropic dimension to the release, £1 from each album sold will be donated to the Amy Winehouse Foundation. Established in 2011, the foundation supports vulnerable and disadvantaged young people, reflecting Amy’s enduring impact beyond the music industry.
As anticipation builds, Amy Winehouse: The Lost Sessions is poised to be a poignant addition to her discography, offering both longtime fans and new listeners a chance to experience the depth and breadth of her musical
genius.
