Brooks & Dunn Announce New Original Album and Farewell World Tour: “Our Final Ride”
In what fans are calling the biggest news in country music this year, Brooks & Dunn have officially announced a brand-new original studio album—Final Ride—set for release in early 2026, followed by a massive farewell world tour. After more than three decades of shaping the country music landscape, the duo is preparing to take their final bow—but not before one last grand celebration.
The announcement was made onstage during their Neon Moon Tour stop in Nashville, Tennessee, where Kix Brooks and Ronnie Dunn shared the emotional news with a packed stadium of cheering fans. “We’ve lived a dream,” said Dunn. “This next album is a thank-you to everyone who’s ridden this trail with us.”
Final Ride will feature all-new original songs, something the duo hasn’t released in over a decade. They’ve been collaborating with both legendary songwriters and rising stars in the country scene, including Chris Stapleton, Lainey Wilson, and Zach Bryan. Brooks described the album as “deeply personal,” with tracks that reflect on their journey, celebrate country roots, and honor their fans.
The accompanying Final Ride Tour will kick off in April 2026 and span North America, Europe, and Australia, marking the first time Brooks & Dunn will perform in several international cities. Fans can expect a career-spanning setlist packed with their greatest hits, heartfelt stories, and surprise guest appearances.
Tickets go on sale this fall, and a special documentary series chronicling their final chapter is also in the works.
For longtime fans, this isn’t just a farewell—it’s the ultimate celebration of the music, the memories, and the legacy of Brooks & Dunn. The ride may be ending, but they’re going out in legenda
ry fashion.
