Samantha Fish Cancels ‘Paper Doll’ Album Release
Blues-rock powerhouse Samantha Fish has officially announced the cancellation of her upcoming album Paper Doll, originally scheduled for release on April 25, 2025. The decision comes as a surprise to fans who have been eagerly anticipating the new project, which promised to showcase Fish’s continued evolution as a bold and expressive artist.
In a statement shared across her official channels, Fish explained, “This isn’t a decision I take lightly. Paper Doll was a deeply personal album, and while it means the world to me, I’ve chosen to step back from its release at this time. I want to thank everyone who’s been on this journey with me and believed in the music.”
Paper Doll was set to include nine original tracks and had already made waves with its fiery lead single, “I’m Done Runnin’.” The album was described as a confident blend of blues, rock, soul, and lyrical honesty. A full international tour had been announced to support the release, including major venues in the U.S., U.K., and Europe.
As part of the cancellation, all related tour dates have been either postponed or canceled entirely. Ticket holders have been advised to check with individual venues for refund details and further announcements.
Though no alternate release date has been confirmed, Fish’s team has reassured fans that updates will be shared if plans change in the future. For now, the focus remains on the artist’s well-being and long-term vision.
While the cancellation has left many disappointed, fans have rallied behind Fish with messages of understanding and support, proving once again that her music has built not only a career—but a
community.
