Officials Confirmed For Celtic’s Trip to Dundee

The selection of the manager for Celtic’s weekend trip to Dundee has been confirmed by the SFA, and it’s safe to assume that this will cause some friction.

The match will be officiated by John Beaton, who oversaw the most recent Glasgow derby and has been at the centre of previous refereeing scandals. David Roome and Dougie Potter will run the lines.

There is a fourth official, Peter Stuart. Andrew Dallas, with help from Graeme Leslie, will be on VAR.

This weekend, the Hoops are in one of the closest championship races in recent memory, so they cannot afford any mistakes. From this point on and until the campaign’s conclusion, every game should be viewed as a cup final.

As demonstrated last midweek, Celtic has defeated the Dee every time they have faced them in 2023–24, but they are still a formidable foe.

At this point in the season, nothing can be taken for granted, but a victory would greatly enhance the Bhoys’ chances of winning the championship.
