Celtic defeated St Johnstone 3-1; Hibs defeated Livingston 3-0; Kilmarnock defeated St Mirren 5-2; Aberdeen triumphed 1-0 at Motherwell; Hearts were defeated 2-1 by Ross County; the match between Dundee and Ross County was postponed.

Rangers are once again having to play catch-up after their match at Dundee was postponed, while Celtic has reclaimed the top spot in the Scottish Premiership.

The latest team of the week features three Hoops players, who impressed in their 3-1 victory over St Johnstone at home to go two points clear.

With a 3-1 victory at home against St. Johnstone, Celtic resumed their title challenge, and Cameron Carter-Vickers, who has an 8.06 rating on WhoScored.com, looked good. The American had a strong performance at Celtic Park, finding a teammate with 90.9% of his 66 attempted passes and making eight accurate long balls.

Along the road to earning an 8.65 rating, the 30-year-old also made five clearances, two tackles, and won five aerial duels.

2. Simon Murray (8.69) in Ross County

At the Global Energy Stadium, Ross County defeated Hearts 2-1 to snap a three-match losing streak. Simon Murray had a major role in the victory. Before halftime, Murray scored both of the Staggies’ goals, hitting Zander Clark with two of his four shots. The 32-year-old received an 8.69 rating from WhoScored.com thanks to one tackle, one crucial pass, and one dribble.

Kilmarnock defeated St. Mirren 5-2 to make it three victories out of the previous four games played at home. Kyle Vassell was the standout player for Kilmarnock. Vassell finished with a 9.03 WhoScored.com rating after scoring on two of his three shots just before halftime. He also caused havoc for the Buddies defense by winning five aerial duels and completing two dribbles.
