Before the season finishes, Brendan Rodgers wants Celtic to take a “big step,” and he is open about the pressure.

Since coming back to Parkhead last summer, Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers hasn’t had it all his own way, but he still has a chance to win two trophies at the end of the season.

The Bhoys still have nine league games left in the season and trail Rangers by two points in the Scottish Premiership. Nevertheless, before the season ends in 2023–2024, both teams will still play each other twice.

Naturally, after defeating Livingston 4-2 the previous weekend, we’ve advanced to the Scottish Cup semi-final, giving the Irishman a chance to complete a domestic double.

As the season nears its conclusion, the Bhoys are under increasing pressure to perform well. If they defeat St Johnstone this Saturday and take all three points, they have the opportunity to take the lead in the league standings.
