Liv and let try
The Lions roared from first minute to last and were a good watch minus the comical defending which undid their bravery in the final third. Organisation was a byword of the Martindale era but it’s been posted missing amid a season which sees Livi marooned to the foot of the Premiership table. Messrs Yenghi and Nouble caused Scales and Welsh fits from the opening whistle and they never slowed during an engrossing contest. Martindale will believe the great escape might still be on.
You Kuhn do it
The 24-year-old arrived with plenty of hype but bar his equaliser at Aberdeen it’s been a slow burn. His dental issues were severe but he now appears up to speed and was brilliant as he ripped the Lions to shreds. His chip in the second half to tee up Bernardo was outrageous and the culmination of a stirring display. The former Rapid Vienna star looked quick, dangerous and skilful and worth every penny of the £3m paid for his services. His late injury woe will be a worry with Yang still absent for the visit of St Johnstone next week.
