Given that Brighton and Celtic are expected to be in the race for players, is Leicester taking a chance or is this the smartest course of action?

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall is a player in high demand right now, and given Brighton’s previous interest in him in January, there’s no doubt that discussions about a summer transfer will resume. KDH has a predetermined price tag of almost £40 million. The Leicester midfielder may be on the radar of Man City, Liverpool, and Chelsea as they evaluate their summer transfer options.

In terms of the quantity of first team players and securing the best incoming agreements down the road, Leicester cannot afford to acquire players without allowing a few of the present squad to depart.

While Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall is already at the club and covers the same position, Matt O’Riley was identified as a potential target last summer. However, without a clear priority, it would be tough to complete a trade. KDH and perhaps Bouba Soumare must be sold in order to obtain O’Riley.

Although we think the Danish international will fit in well at Leicester and be a terrific addition if he joins, Leeds and Fulham have been identified as potential suitors for his signature. Other Premier League teams will undoubtedly be keeping an eye on him as well.

Under Brendan Rodgers’ guidance, the 1.89-meter midfield player is presently advancing at Celtic. This season, he has excelled even more than last in both Europe and the Scottish Premier League. The next stage would be the excitement of being given a chance in the Premier League, and at Leicester, he will be in excellent company as fellow Danes Jannik Vestergaard and Mads Hermansen are expected to be included in the starting lineup again the following season.

Matt O’Riley, a 23-year-old with a contract that expires in the summer of 2027, would be a perfect addition for Leicester, who undoubtedly hopes to compete in the Premier League again the following year.
