Wrexham wine bar opens its doors as former AFC player trades pitch for pints

A state-of-the-art, authentic wine bar has opened in the heart of Wrexham after months of planning.

The public was expected to be able to visit “Vault 33,” which is situated at 33 High Street, Wrexham, at 7 p.m. today, Friday, April 12.

Turning the field into a bar, sportsman and former AFC player Neil Roberts is venturing into the hospitality industry for the first time.

33 High Street, Wrexham is The Leader.
Neil has completed bar training at several Wrexham establishments, such as the Golden Lion, Pant Yr Orchain, and the Turf. Now, he is prepared to start his exciting new business.

“We at Vault33 have been dreaming about this day for a very long time, and it’s fair to say that it hasn’t been easy. Fortunately, each of us has been blessed with the most incredible families and friends nearby to support us, without whom we wouldn’t be where we are today.” he said.

The Leader writes, “Our focus has always been to offer a unique, safe and welcoming environment by ensuring that our service, presentation & quality levels are of the highest standard possible.”

In addition to an outstanding collaboration with Rob McElhenney, co-owner of AFC, and his company “Four Walls Whiskey,” Aber Falls Distillery is a proud sponsor of Vault 33.

The distillery will continue to assist Vault33 on their exciting journey. The distillery was a committed partner in the setup of the new bar, helping to finance the mural in the “whisky snug.”

Nail goes on, “Vault33 is a family that aspires to constantly develop and grow. We feel that we’ve found partners in “Aber Falls” who share our values and beliefs, which is exactly what we needed to accomplish in order to do this.

“A brand that is universally recognized in local, national, and worldwide markets, and we are excited to accompany them on their journey. There are exciting times ahead in every way.

“The launch of this stunning bar is an exciting venture for hospitality in North Wales, and we look forward to continuing to support the team at Vault33 going forward,” stated Carole Jones, General Manager of Aber Falls.
