West Ham United table bid for ‘Unbelievable’ West Brom star Grady Diangana

West Ham United have made a £9.7 million bid for their former academy player, Grady Diangana, as reported by Africa Foot.

The news outlet, on their website (27 May), stated that the West Brom player is now a target for multiple European clubs, including Lazio, Roma, Wolves, Brighton, and Leicester.

However, the Hammers have taken steps to gain an advantage by submitting an offer for the DR Congo international after engaging in talks with West Brom.

West Ham aims to strengthen their attack with an academy talent

It’s easy to forget, but Diangana was a standout player in West Ham’s academy before he left to seek more regular first-team action.

Since joining The Hawthorns, the winger has become a crucial player for Carlos Corberan, though his performances have been inconsistent, and he hasn’t been able to help the team return to the top flight.

Despite this, his impressive performances have earned him praise, with current captain Jed Wallace calling him “unbelievable.” With several changes anticipated at the London Stadium this summer, this could prove to be a smart move.

Diangana wouldn’t be too expensive but would cover a problem position, while also contributing to the homegrown quota for the squad.
