However, Owens revealed that earlier in the evening, Hall of Famers Booker T and Rob Van Dam had both turned down his invitation. Booker T, according to Owens, was still holding a grudge from past comments Owens made about Texas during his feud with Steve Austin. Owens mentioned that Booker T’s lingering resentment made him unwilling to join forces.
Regarding Rob Van Dam, Owens recounted that the Hall of Famer remarked he was “on another planet,” a comment that Owens found puzzling but which Orton seemed to understand. The situation took a light-hearted turn when Ricky appeared on camera, and the trio made their way to Orton’s bus, where RVD was said to still be “on another planet,” according to Orton.
