Manchester United versus Rangers Murrayfield details as Ibrox renovates

For a summer friendly, the Red Devils head north of the border.

Murrayfield will play host, not Ibrox

This summer, Rangers will play Manchester United at Murrayfield due to Ibrox redevelopment.

For the first time since 2010, the two titans will face off, as the club confirmed this week. Philippe Clement will be in charge of his players against the Premier League team. The Red Devils and Lyon played a friendly at the Edinburgh Stadium last year, and now they’re scheduled to return to the capital because of renovations in Glasgow.

According to the same magazine, the Gers may not play any more friendly matches in Scotland because of the stadium renovations, as they have intentions to travel overseas and play other bounce games down south.

It was recently reported to you that the Gers intended to expand the stadium by constructing a new cantilever in front of the Copland Road Stand.
