Following his Easter Thursday roll of his ankle against Collingwood, Neale had scans on Saturday that revealed no serious injuries.

To help with his ankle recovery and swelling, the midfielder worked out at the gym on Monday before joining teammates for a light workout on the track.

Doedee tore a partial tear of his ACL during training last week, and he will have knee surgery on Wednesday.

This week, Darcy Gardiner, a fellow defender who participated in the Lions VFL victory over Collingwood on Good Friday, will also be available for AFL selection.

Gardiner showed that he had recovered from his knee injury sustained during Brisbane’s Round 1 match against Fremantle by playing the entire game.

Moving forward Due to a toe injury sustained during training, Brandon Ryan was unable to play in the first two games of the VFL season.

The Club is optimistic that following the bye, he will be available for selection the following week.
