Hutchinson highlighted the role of the fans and manager Kieran McKenna in his decision to return: “Their support was crucial. As a player, you thrive on that confidence boost from fans, and the manager’s trust and belief in me made it an easy decision.”

Regarding McKenna’s influence, he elaborated: “From the outset of last season, he outlined what I needed to bring to the team and areas to improve. He pushed me hard in training sessions to bring out the best in me, which is exactly what I need as a player. I’m always striving to improve, so it was invaluable.”

Reflecting on being back as a permanent signing, he commented: “It doesn’t feel different, to be honest. I always envisioned returning here. Sometimes you dream about it, especially after my last game here. It was a pleasure playing here last season, and I can’t wait to get started.”

He also mentioned his family’s connection with the club: “They felt a great energy the moment they stepped into the stadium. The people were very welcoming, which made the decision to come back easy for us.”

Looking ahead to his future goals with the club, he concluded: “I have big ambitions for the club. I want us to stay in the Premier League, compete against the best teams globally, which I’m really excited about, and achieve great things with this club.”
