Matt celebrated his Celtics colleague Joe Hart on Instagram on Sunday night, even though he scored a terrific goal.
in the closing minutes, Celtic leading 2-1. The home team had one final opportunity. Stevie May, a late substitute for St Johnstone, found the ball at the back post and headed it in the goal. When Joe Hart made a stunning save, the St Johnstone supporters appeared ready to celebrate.
After 22 seconds, Celtic’s sharp counterattack let them tie the score at three.
Joe’s save decided the game and ensured Celtic won the three points. It’s obvious that Matt wants to emphasize that on social media.
The win at McDermid Park allowed Celtic to keep their eight-point lead at the top of the table.
The boys will now play Hibernian at Celtic Park on Wednesday night. Brendan Rodgers will be hoping to exact some retribution on the Leith team after only managing a draw against them at Easter Road.
