The former Manchester United and West Ham player is being tested
After experiencing chest pains, former West Ham striker and Premier League legend Carlos Tevez was admitted to a hospital in his native Argentina.
The 40-year-old was brought to a hospital in Buenos Aires on Tuesday, and he will be under the care of medical professionals until his tests are finished. Currently serving as head coach of Argentine top flight team Independiente, the former Hammers talisman’s health was updated by the club via social media platform X.

The post said, “With chest pains, our head coach, Carlos Tevez, entered the Sanatorio La Trinidad de San Isidro.” The required testing was done, and the outcomes are encouraging. He is scheduled to continue a series of tests tomorrow as part of a routine general check-up.
After moving to the UK in 2006, the striker made 29 appearances for West Ham, contributing four assists and seven goals. He would play for Manchester United, Manchester City, and Juventus after leaving West Ham.
With Manchester United in 2008 and 2009, as well as Manchester City in 2012, Tevez claimed two Premier League titles.
In 2022, Tevez spoke to West Ham about how much he loved his time in North London and how much he respected the Hammers’ supporters. “That was an amazing feeling,” he remarked. Like love at first sight, it was. They made me feel so welcome that I felt obligated to return the favor.
