The Corrs Announce First Studio Album in Nearly a Decade: “Echoes of Erin” Set for Late 2025 Release
After years of teasing new material and thrilling fans with nostalgic live performances, The Corrs have officially announced the release of their much-anticipated new studio album, Echoes of Erin, slated for October 2025. This marks their first full-length studio project since White Light (2015), ending a ten-year wait for new original music from the beloved Irish family band.
The announcement came during a heartfelt moment on stage at their sold-out show in Dublin’s St Anne’s Park, where Andrea Corr addressed the crowd: “We’ve poured our hearts into this, reconnecting with our roots while exploring new sounds. It’s time to share this journey with you.”
Echoes of Erin promises a rich fusion of the band’s signature Celtic-pop sound with modern production and fresh lyrical depth. Collaborating with producers from both Ireland and Los Angeles, the album is expected to feature traditional instruments like tin whistle, bodhrán, and violin, alongside contemporary arrangements. Fans can also look forward to guest appearances from notable Irish artists and longtime friend Bono of U2 on one track.
The first single, “Lantern Sky,” is scheduled for release in July, and sources suggest a deeply personal ballad written by Sharon Corr about the siblings’ late mother will be among the album’s emotional highlights.
Fans across the globe have been hoping for this moment ever since the band’s reunion in the 2010s. Now, with Echoes of Erin on the horizon and a world tour rumored for early 2026, The Corrs are not just making a comeback—they’re cementing their legacy for a new generation.
Pre-orders for the album and exclusive merchandise will go live in May through the band’s official store.
