For supporters planning to take the train between High Wycombe and Wembley Stadium for the Bristol Street Motors Trophy Final on Sunday, April 7 (kick-off at 4.30pm) versus Peterborough United, Chiltern Railways has offered the following advice.

Starting at 11:00, a better service will run from High Wycombe, Beaconsfield, and Gerrards Cross to Wembley Stadium and back after the game. For the remainder of the day, frequent lengthier and additional trains will run starting at around 11:00.

Kindly be advised that trains to Wembley Stadium will not depart before 11:00. It is recommended that patrons who wish to travel to the match arrive at the station after this hour. Before the game, there will be a line at High Wycombe.

Rail replacement buses will be in place to Amersham for onward connections to central London. No services will run between Marylebone and Aylesbury Vale Parkway (via Amersham) during the day due to the Wembley Stadium event and to free up resources to accommodate the majority of Wycombe’s travelling support.

There will be a line at Wembley Stadium station following the game. Chiltern Railways personnel will be exerting great effort to safely and expeditiously board passengers. Even with the added services, customers might still have to wait in line for long stretches of time, particularly if the game goes into extra time and penalties. Customers may want to think about using other modes of transportation if they are unable or unwilling to wait in line.

Customers are advised to stay in central London after the match and not board services to London Marylebone and “round back” to High Wycombe, as ALL extra trains to High Wycombe will commence from Wembley Stadium, with minimal capacity offered from London Marylebone.

If at all feasible, customers should buy their tickets in advance on the Chiltern Railways website or app to avoid standing in line at ticket machines and offices.

We appreciate your patience as we try to bring you home after the game, and we wish our customers luck in the championship.
