Captain of Bayer Leverkusen, makes shocking admission about West Ham

In advance of their crucial quarterfinal matchup with Bayer Leverkusen, West Ham’s captain has revealed an unexpected revelation.

It seems like West Ham is everywhere we go.

And if you needed any more evidence to support that claim, Germany has it.

It will be difficult for the Hammers to advance to a third consecutive European semifinal.

In the final eight of the Europa League, West Ham must defeat Bayer Leverkusen, the top team in the Bundesliga.

The team led by Xabi Alonso is undefeated across all competitions and is headed for the German championship.

After Liverpool, West Ham’s rivals are likewise the second-choice winners of the Europa League.

Here’s the evidence that West Ham is huge.
Nevertheless, David Moyes and associates intend to throw a wrench in that plan.

German supporters are renowned for the ambiance they create.

In fact, Moyes acknowledged that he believes German atmospheres are better than English ones prior to the team’s victory over Freiburg in the round of 16.

But fans of West Ham will love the shocking admission made by Bayer Leverkusen captain Lukas Hradecky.

Hradecky, a seasoned goalkeeper with nearly 250 club appearances, is the captain of Bayer Leverkusen and a legend in the organization.

Additionally, the 34-year-old has almost 100 caps for Finland.

In his more than 600 senior career matches, he has witnessed a lot.

The West Ham captain is thrilled to hear the bubbles being sung by the fans.
He hasn’t yet, though, faced an English squad.

He has since acknowledged that he gets a kick out of hearing West Ham supporters sing the team’s well-known Bubbles anthem.

Speaking to The Sun on Saturday, March 23, Hradecky admitted as much (page 65).

“A Premier League team in the top 10 is always dangerous, and they (West Ham) beat a German team twice in the group stage,” Hradecky remarked.

“Even though this is my first club match in England, I’m excited about the vibe and to hear Bubbles.”

The news will delight fans of the Hammers.

It merely demonstrates how well-known our club is across the continent. So when the time comes for the tie, let’s not let him down.

It might have to be heard by Skipper from the bench.
Hradecky’s concern is that he might not be able to participate in the games.

He is the starting goalkeeper for Leverkusen. However, Alonso uses the same rotation of stoppers between the league and Europe as Moyes does with Lukasz Fabianski and Alphonse Areola.

And Matej Kovar, a player well-known to Tomas Soucek and Vladimir Coufal of West Ham, is probably going to start in goal for the quarterfinal instead.

Though he has only played in one league game for Leverkusen this season, the young 6′ 5in goalie has participated in seven of their eight Europa League matches.

Kovar, who is 23 years old, has prior experience in England, unlike Hradecky. In the summer, Leverkusen signed him from Manchester United.
