“Amazing.” The 22-year-old Celtic player’s speed in training astonished Brendan Rodgers lately.

After Saturday’s draw against Aberdeen, Brendan Rodgers has been spending the previous few days gathering his players and getting them ready for tonight’s match against Hibs.

The Celtic manager is aware that he cannot afford to lose any more games as the season comes to an end because they are coming thick and fast.Despite the pressure at the top of the league, it appears that things are going well in the Celtic camp. Aaron Rodgers has expressed his excitement with Adam Idah and the progress he has made in training this week.

Rodgers stated, “Adam, I’m really excited about,” on Celtic YouTube. As I previously stated, after seen him perform and now spending a few days conversing and working with him, his talent is truly amazing.

“He has every tool you need to perform at the highest caliber. It’s evident that he’s doing it globally, and both for him and for Norwich, it’s been a little bit hit-or-miss.

“However, after evaluating him and witnessing his performance in training—including his finish, speed, and touch—I’m enthusiastic about the potential he holds for us in the upcoming months.”

Idah was Celtic’s second January window acquisition, and despite the lackluster hype surrounding his arrival, the Republic of Ireland international made a solid impact in his debut the previous weekend against Aberdeen.

The 22-year-old is capable of providing Celtic with an alternative up front. Robust, strong, and if Rodgers’ description of his speed is accurate, it appears that the hoops supporters might have a player on their hands.

Celtic found out yesterday that acquiring Idah permanently will cost them about £3 million. The Irishman has 14 games to prove his mettle, and if he performs well, Rodgers may choose to sign him as one of his first summer additions the following year.
