A True Champion: Quinton Joins Us as Our Honorary Ball Kid
Today was a special day at Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital at Ascension St. Vincent as we welcomed a very special guest—Quinton, our Honorary Ball Kid.
Quinton’s story is one of strength, resilience, and pure heart. Born at just 28 weeks, weighing only 2 pounds, 5 ounces, Quinton faced a steep uphill battle from the very beginning. He spent 88 days in our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), receiving round-the-clock care from a dedicated team who supported him with breathing assistance, nutritional care, and the kind of love and compassion that goes beyond medicine.
Fast forward to today, and Quinton is nothing short of amazing. Thriving in school, playing baseball, and enjoying time with his friends, he’s a bright light in every room he enters. His smile is contagious, and his story is a testament to the power of hope, expert care, and a fighting spirit.
Just as he fought his way home from the NICU, Quinton now brings joy to others simply by being himself. It was an honor to have him with us today—his courage and energy embody everything we celebrate at Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital.
Thank you, Quinton, for inspiring us all. You’ll always be a part of our hospital family.
