West Ham £30m bid for En-Nesyri would be accepted – sources
According to sources from Football Insider, West Ham would need to shell out approximately £30 million if they intend to secure the services of Sevilla forward Youssef En-Nesyri during the upcoming transfer window. The La Liga outfit, having endured a challenging season, could be open to offers for the Moroccan international.
On the Inside Track podcast by Football Insider, senior correspondent Pete O’Rourke disclosed the Hammers’ interest in En-Nesyri and hinted at potential competition from other top European clubs in the pursuit of the 26-year-old striker. En-Nesyri’s contract is set to run until June 2025.
Despite previous attempts to sign him, West Ham remains keen on securing En-Nesyri’s signature, with O’Rourke noting the forward’s consistent form for Sevilla. With 19 goals and three assists in 38 appearances this season, En-Nesyri’s impressive performance has attracted attention from the Premier League.
Sevilla’s current standing in La Liga, sitting 12th and missing out on European qualification, coupled with En-Nesyri’s contract situation, may prompt the club to entertain offers for the player. West Ham could benefit from manager-elect Julen Lopetegui’s familiarity with En-Nesyri, having previously managed him at Sevilla.
With the potential appointment of Lopetegui at West Ham and the club’s desire to bolster their attacking options, En-Nesyri emerges as a prime target for the Hammers as they aim to provide greater support for key players like Michail Antonio and Jarrod Bowen in the upcoming season.
