In their pursuit of signing Amadou Onana, Barcelona is rumoured to be offering Everton the choice of four players.
The midfielder is admired by all six of the Premier League’s teams, as exclusively disclosed by TEAMtalk, but Manchester United and Arsenal are reportedly at the top of the list.
Onana, who cost the Toffees £33 million when he signed with Lille in 2022, has developed into one of their most vital players. He has made 29 appearances and scored three goals this season.
The 22-year-old international player from Belgium is among the greatest long-term alternatives on the market, and his admirers expect him to only get better.
According to TEAMtalk sources, the Toffees would demand about £80 million for Onana this summer. It was previously believed that Barcelona would not be able to compete for Onana.
To outbid the competition for Onana’s signature, however, new sources indicate that the LaLiga powerhouses are now prepared to give up the option of four players in return for the player.
After negotiating contracts for players like Andre Gomes, Gerard Deulofeu, and Yerry Mina in the past, Barcelona and Everton have an excellent working relationship. This summer, there’s a chance that the two clubs may reach yet another agreement.

“Will offer the likes of Ansu Fati (on loan with Brighton), Clement Lenglet (on loan with Aston Villa), Sergino Dest (on loan with PSV Eindhoven), or Fermin Lopez to Everton,” claims the Spanish publication Sport.
The Toffees need reinforcements if they want to succeed in the upcoming season, and because Onana has been strongly connected to leaving, it could be best to get a fresh player and cash in return for him.
Onana will reportedly make playing for Barcelona his top priority this summer, but he will also reportedly be “excited by the prospect of playing for Barcelona.”
According to reports, Barca has decided that Fati, Lenglet, and Dest are surplus to requirements and are not expected to drastically lower the price of Onana.
