A little more than a week after Onis Konanbanny named Tennessee his leader on the heels of another visit with the Vols, he came away from his latest official visit with another program at the top of his list. His weekend stay at Florida State wasn’t his first time there, but it impressed him enough to make the Seminoles the team to beat.

The Vols will still get another chance to host the four-star Class of 2025 cornerback from Heathwood Hall Episcopal School in Columbia, S.C., later this month when he returns to Tennessee on an official visit the weekend of June 21, just before the start of an approximately monthlong dead period for recruiting. But Konanbanny didn’t have to wait that long to make it back to Knoxville.
