Premier League boss addresses striker reports amid Leeds, Sunderland, West Brom and Ipswich transfer links

Kieffer Moore, a striker, may leave Bournemouth this month, according to manager Andoni Iraola, citing interest from many Championship teams.

The 31-year-old striker helped the Cherries overcome a goal deficit to win 3-2 against QPR in the FA Cup on Saturday despite having only made seven Premier League appearances this season, none of which have been starts.

The Sun’s Alan Nixon claims that Bournemouth is open to considering both loan and permanent bids, and that Southampton is prepared to modify their transfer strategy in an attempt to sign Moore this month.

The forward, who has made 40 appearances for Wales, has also been connected to championship teams Middlesbrough, Leeds, Ipswich, and West Brom.

Iraola acknowledged last week that Moore’s circumstances have been aggravating since Dominic Solanke has been starting up top for Bournemouth much of the season.

When asked about Moore, Iraola replied, “He was close in the summer market to leaving the club, but every party decided he stayed with us.” “He has been a huge asset to the team, but he isn’t likely getting the minutes he desires.

“When we have just one forward, it is challenging to remove (Solanke) from the game. It’s something Moore will talk about extensively. While some players would rather stay and advance in their positions, others would rather go on to new locations where they may play more.

“If that’s the player’s opinion, the clubs start to negotiate and make the numbers work.”
