Mike Dodds, the interim manager of Sunderland, has talked about the club’s current hunt for a manager.
Following Michael Beale’s dismissal from Sunderland last month, Dodds has been put in charge through the summer.
After Tony Mowbray and Beale, Dodds is the third person to lead the Black Cats this season, and he appears to have a chance of being hired on a permanent basis.
Although it was previously stated that Odds might be given consideration at Sunderland, his four victories and one draw in his five games as manager thus far indicate that he won’t be given a permanent position.

Prior to the previous few games, I had a conversation with them wherein they informed me that they had made a shortlist of possible candidates and would take their time reaching out to them. They don’t want to rush that decision and instead want to make sure they get the next appointment right.

We need to change the culture of the football team, and we know that winning games is the greatest way to achieve that, therefore we have some huge games coming up.

Although a move to replace Dodds never materialized, he was linked to Sunderland, who are reportedly viewing Still as their ideal summer addition.
