Sheffield Wednesday has officially confirmed that they are retaining veteran defender Liam Palmer for the upcoming season. Palmer, a stalwart for the club, has been offered a new contract as part of the team’s retained list following the conclusion of the 2023/24 season.
The decision to retain Palmer is part of a broader strategy, with the club also extending contract offers to key players including Barry Bannan, Cameron Dawson, and Josh Windass. Additionally, Sheffield Wednesday has exercised options to retain Marvin Johnson and Callum Paterson.

Recently, he led a 5km run around Hillsborough Park to raise funds and awareness for the Parents Association of Children with Tumours and Leukaemia (PACT), highlighting his dedication to both his team and community.
