Rohl, formerly the assistant coach of the Germany national team, was appointed as Sheffield Wednesday’s permanent manager in October, inheriting a challenging situation with the team rooted to the bottom of the Championship table. However, Sheffield Wednesday is keen to retain Rohl’s services, as indicated by their valuation of his contract. The club reportedly seeks a fee of around £5 million in compensation to release him from his contract, with double that amount required should any suitor also seek to acquire his entire backroom staff.

Despite the interest from other clubs, the hefty price tag attached to Rohl’s contract may deter potential suitors. Nonetheless, it underscores Sheffield Wednesday’s determination to retain their prized manager and coaching staff, reflecting the faith they placed in him during their time of need.
